Syracuse Football: Orange Could Be Headed to Quick Lane or Birmingham Bowl?

After starting 3-0, the Syracuse Orange were seen as a bowl team by just one outlet (ESPN's ACC Blog). But after losing by just 10 points to the LSU Tigers this past Saturday, we've added another believer!

Once again, the ACC Blog projections (run by David Hale) have us headed to the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit. The new addition, however, is ESPN.com's Brett McMurphy. In this week's bowl projections that he compiles with Mark Schlabach, McMurphy has the Orange headed to the Birmingham Bowl against Tulsa.

Still no love from SB Nation or CBS Sports at this time. But they have plenty of time to come around. In the meantime, we can envision trips to Detroit or Birmingham with glee (until someone decides that those games aren't good enough and demands an Orange Bowl trip, of course...)
