The 2015-15 edition of the Orange Eagle Trophy competition got off to an incredible start today as the #2 Syracuse Orange pulled out a last-minute goal from Emma Lamison to defeat the #11 Boston College Eagles 3-2. With the victory, Syracuse moves to 6-0 on the season, 2-0 to open up ACC play.
BC got on the board first, and led 2-1 at the half. The Orange's goal was scored by Senior Emma Russell, which was the 47th of her career and tied the school record for career goals.

Syracuse trailed for most of the 2nd half, but Graduate Student Alma Fenne tied the game with 6:30 to go with her 3rd goal of the season.
Syracuse took a one player advantage when BC was awarded a green card with 3:48 remaining. The Orange made the Eagles pay when Junior Emma Lamison knocked off the game-winner with 30 seconds to go. This was Lamison's 2nd game-winner of the season as the transfer student has made an immediate impact in her 1st season.
