Syracuse Football Offers Free Tickets for Military Personnel

Or you a veteran or an active member of the military? Do you like free? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you have qualified for free tickets to see a Syracuse Football game!

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

In the wake of Syracuse Football's annual trip to Fort Drum, Syracuse University has announced that veterans, current, or honorably discharged members of the military are eligible for two free tickets to any home game for the 2015 football season. This 'military pass' offers seats in a special ticket area on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Tickets must be ordered eight days in advance with the exception being the Rhode Island game on Sept. 4; those tickets can be ordered before Sept. 2. Military personnel wishing to obtain tickets can register at cuse.com/military and will have to go through a verification process.

On game days, military personnel wishing to purchase tickets (limit 4) can buy upper level corner or endzone seats for $10.00 and must have their military ID to receive a discount. 2015 Syracuse Orange home games include Sept. 4 against Rhode Island, Sept. 12 against Wake Forest, Sept. 19 against Central Michigan, Sept. 26 against LSU, Oct. 24 against Pitt, Nov. 4 against Clemson and Nov. 28 against Boston College.
