Last week news broke that incoming Syracuse Orange freshman forward Moustapha Diagne would not enroll at Syracuse and would instead enroll at a junior college. Now, Mike Waters of Syracuse.com reports that Diagne has enrolled at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, FL. Waters confirmed the news with Diagne's host father.

Diagne joins a team coming off a junior college National Championship that will look to repeat in 2015-2016. Their head coach is Steve deMeo, a former longtime Providence Friars assistant coach who also had stints with Iona, Hofstra and UCF. He was named 2015 NJCAA Division I National Coach of the Year following the school's title run last year.
According to Waters, the NCAA is checking on a course that Diagne took in Senegal. Without the NCAA approving the course, Diagne could not be cleared as eligible to play at Syracuse this year.
