What would the preseason be without predictions? It's exciting to look through the roster, see who is coming back and to try and predict how the season will turn out. Today we take a step outside of what the TNIAAM staff thinks to see what the national media predicts for the Syracuse Orange football team in 2015.
Matt Fortuna, ESPN. Predictions: Best Case: 7-5, Worst Case: 3-9
In Fortuna's best case scenario he mentions that Hunt will have taken the steps that many people envisioned him taking last year and that Steve Ishmael, Alvin Cornelius and Brisly Estime will emerge as playmakers in the passing game, while Zaire Franklin leads a group of strong linebackers.
Bruce Feldman, Fox Sports. Prediction: 4-8, (1-7)
Feldman has Syracuse at a disappointing 4-8, a slight 'improvement' from a season ago. But that's not the worst of the predictions...
Stewart Mandel, Fox Sports. Prediction: 2-10, (0-8)
Yikes. Mandel predicts Syracuse to go a whopping 2-10 and says that Scott Shafer will be "toast." I'm not so sure Syracuse will be that bad.
