Boeheim's Army returns to the battlefield (court?) for some TBT action.

Boeheim's Army

Boeheim's Army is back and this time Rick Jackson is fully-operational.

The team comprised mostly of Syracuse Orange alums kicks off Super 17 play against Liberty Ballers at 6:

The game will be broadcast live at the TBT website.

Named for the SB Nation 76ers blog, the team features mostly Philadelphia talent. Fans will remember the names Reggie Redding, James Bell and Antonio Peña, three former Villanova players competing for the Liberty Ballers. Also on the roster are Siena alums Ronald Moore, Ryan Rossiter and Kenny Hasbrouck, who all scored over 1,000 points in their collegiate careers.

Saturday, Boeheim's Army made a solid debut in The Basketball Tournament, cruising to a 91-73 victor over NYC Superstars. A day later, the team comprised mostly of Syracuse Orange alums will look to advance to the Super 17 Regional in Chicago when they take on 20th & Olney.

Hopefully we can add the game to what's already been a memorable run for the team. We're looking to Demetris Nichols to keep up his scoring, Hakim Warrick to keep up his rebounding, Willie Deane to keep up his overall play and Eric Devendorf to keep his cool...as long as he can.

The winner will take on the winner of Sideline Cancer vs. Team City of Gods on Saturday (see full bracket here).
