Syracuse's Annual Fan Fest Set For August 15, Includes Soccer Scrimmage vs. Georgetown

It's almost that time for the annual Fan Fest. It will look nothing like the above photo.

Are you a Syracuse denizen that loves Syracuse Orange events? Do you like FREE? Do you absolutely despise anything Georgetown? Well, then you're cordially invited to the Annual Syracuse Fan Fest on August 15!

Syracuse will host Georgetown for an exhibition soccer game beginning at 4 p.m. Following the soccer game, the Syracuse football team will host its practice and team scrimmage at 6 p.m. at the soccer stadium. Admission to both events are free, as is parking at Manley.

Food and refreshments will be served (not free) and fans will have an opportunity to register for prizes, including two seats in the Athletic Department Suite for a home game this season.

The Syracuse volleyball and women's soccer teams will host interactive activities and there will be inflatable bouncers jumpies for kids at Wohl Field. There will be merchandise for sale and the men's soccer team will host an autograph session following the beating of Georgetown. The Orange field-hockey team will also hold an open practice at Coyne Stadium during the event.

Season ticket holders for football will be invited to a tour of the Locolano-Petty Football Wing at Manley Field House and to watch the scrimmage from the sideline. Fans will be able to pick up season tickets at the event as well as purchase new season and individual game tickets.

A selfie station will be set up after the scrimmage, but they probably won't be better than this selfie.
