For the second straight day, Syracuse will add another football player to the class of 2016. Late Friday, Orange target Darius Stubbs committed as an H-back, via his Twitter feed. The (Locust Grove) Georgia athlete has not been rated by Scout yet, but has two stars from Rivals. Scout's Mike McAllister sees him as a cornerback, but from all indications the staff sees him in the aforementioned H-back spot. Stubbs also holds offers from Georgia State, Miami (OH) and Troy (along with a few FCS schools too).
We hadn't heard a whole lot about Stubbs leading up to now, though the 5'11", 190-pound player was "very excited" to receive an Orange offer back in May (per Scout). He'll grab one of two H-back spots available to players this cycle -- with the other likely being held for Moe Neal.

Stubbs is the second Syracuse commit in as many days, joining outside linebacker Taylor Riggins, who verballed yesterday. He's the ninth player in the Orange's 2016 class, and the fourth offensive skill player -- joining QB Rex Culpepper, WR Sadiq Palmer and of course, RB Robert Washington.
Welcome, Darius! And for those who'd like to see some tape, you can give that a look below:
