Wednesday, Scout.com released their updated class of 2017 rankings. As many know, the class of 2017 could potentially be the most talented class to ever enroll at Syracuse University. With the recent sanctions, Jim Boeheim has made one-and-done type players a priority, especially in the 2017 recruiting cycle.
NunesMagician.com recently put together a full outline of the current targets and roster projections for the next four seasons. The sanctions, as of right now, will run through the 2018-19 season.
Name | Position | Overall Rank | Position Rank | Height | Weight | Status |
Mohammed Bamba | Center | 4 | 3 | 6-11 | 195 | Uncommitted |
Trevon Duval | Point Guard | 6 | 2 | 6-3 | 170 | Uncommitted |
Quade Green | Point Guard | 33 | 9 | 5-11 | 155 | Uncommitted |
Kevin Huerter | Shooting Guard | 61 | 11 | 6-5 | 170 | Uncommitted |
Michael Porter Jr. | Small Forward | 3 | 1 | 6-8 | 205 | Uncommitted |
Nicholas Richards | Center | 15 | 5 | 6-11 | 220 | Uncommitted |
Jordan Tucker | Small Forward | 44 | 8 | 6-8 | 185 | Uncommitted |
Listed above are all the current 2017 prospects that hold offers including Kevin Huerter, who is a class of 2016 guard. Huerter holds an offer beginning in the 2017 season, which would require a year of prep school. The 6-5 shooting guard's ranking is included in the class of 2016 rankings, not 2017.
As of right now, the Syracuse Orange have three scholarships available for the 2017 class. That, obviously, is subject to change.
