Name: Taylor Hindy
Position: Offensive Guard
Year: Senior
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 309
Hometown: West Hills, Calif.
High School: Chaminade Prep
2014 Stats: Taylor did not appear in any games last season (sitting a year per NCAA transfer rules).
2015 Projections: Hindy's currently third on the left guard depth chart, and it's unlikely he sees the field unless it's as an injury sub (though his presence is still much appreciated).
How'd He Get Here: Hindy transferred to Syracuse after two years at Washington. He had to sit out last year as a result.
What'd Recruiting Sites Say: Two stars.
Money Quote: Syracuse.com called him the "most notable" of last year's transfer additions for the Orange, due to his time at UW.
Links of Wonder: Taylor loves his parents' cooking, and is a big Lord of the Rings fan, which would probably help him out around here from time to time.
Twitterfeed: @TayHindz (though it's private and it's unlikely it's been updated since he left UW)
Tweets Of Wonder: Coach Sark tweeted about him once while they were both still at Washington. Sark's blog is no longer active. Lame.

What Does Scott Shafer Think Of Him: Syracuse head coach Scott Shafer discussed how Hindy ended up transferring from Washington, and it ends up it was by way alums:
"We didn't know who he was and we had some alumni that were kind of friends of the family. They heard that maybe he wanted to get out of Washington. They had a coaching transition (Steve Sarkisian left for USC in December). He had a release from Washington so we went and watched the video tape and I said, 'He's pretty good.' Then talking to him and getting to know him, he's a quality young man. He comes from a nice family. Real sturdy character and he's done a nice job."
Interesting Nugget O'Interest: Taylor's sister, Ashley, also attended Syracuse. Family connections!
Let's Get A Good Look Atcha: These are enjoyable...
