A couple weekend updates regarding two 2016 Syracuse Orange football targets.
Sean McKeon:
McKeon, a 2016 TE from Massachusetts, told Stephen Bailey yesterday that he is close to a decision. McKeon just finished up a visit to Michigan and has decided he will camp there today, with a decision to come soon after.
Syracuse currently sits in McKeon's top five schools along with Michigan, Boston College, Pitt, and Virginia. Syracuse is in pretty good shape as they have the strong academics valued by McKeon and a depth chart that McKeon could rise through quickly. Out of his top five, only Boston College has tight ends committed.
The 6-foot-5 230 pound McKeon holds a three star rating by 247Sports and is listed as the No. 64 tight end in the 2016 class.

Solomon Manning:
Manning, a 2016 OLB from New Jersey, had told Stephen Bailey that he holds the Orange high on his list after camping there on Saturday. Turns out, however, he's going to stick with his home-state school.
"I would like to put my city back on the map," Manning told NJ.com. "I would like to go to Rutgers University."
According to reports, Syracuse did not extend an offer to Manning despite his asking about one. Rutgers also apparently made Manning an ultimatum that he needed to decided ASAP, an ultimatum he accepted.
