SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!

Earlier in the day on Saturday, Stephen Bailey noted that Plant High School (Tampa) safety Scoop Bradshaw, who visited SU last week with his teammate Rex Culpepper, might verbally-commit soon to play for the Syracuse Orange in 2016.

A few hours later, he did.

"I talked to my family and Coach Weiner," Bradshaw said. "Everything went great and I think that's the best place for me right now to go and have my education there."

"I love it because it's kind of similar to Plant defense," Bradshaw said. "They play a lot of man defense."

Bradshaw becomes the sixth member of the Class of 2016 and the second defensive back to commit this weekend. Georgia OLB/Nickel Will Harper gave his verbal on Friday. He recorded 110 tackles, 26 TFL, two INTs and two fumbles during his junior season at Plant and he says he is being recruited as both a corner and safety.

Scoop gets a two-star rating from Scout, who also notes that he received offers from Utah, Indiana, USF and Toledo amongst others. He tells Bailey that he also expected to receive offers from Georgia Tech and Kentucky but he does not plan to take any more visits now.

Two great bonuses about his commitment. No. 1, it's something that's sure to keep Rex Culpepper happy, or at least give him a friendly face to see so far from home. No. 2, we get to yell SCOOOOOOOOOP again!
