'ACC Day' at Yankee Stadium on August 9, Will Probably Be De Facto 'Cuse Day'

When you think of the ACC, think of Toronto.

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Thursday that "ACC Day" will be held at Yankee Stadium on Sunday, August 9 when the New York Yankees host the Toronto Blue Jays.

All Atlantic Coast Conference schools and their alumni, faculty, students and fans can save up to 25 percent off on select seats for the game at Yankee Stadium. For details, please see www.yankees.com/ACCDAY. Please note that ticket specials are subject to availability.

So really, it's going to be a whole lot of Syracuse fans, a smattering of Boston College fans, a handful of Pitt fans and everyone else will be Duke fans (because Yankee fans are just all a bunch of frontrunners....get it? GET IT???).

Yankee Stadium has been pretty good to the Syracuse Orange. We're still The Greatest Pinstripe Bowl Participant In History, with two wins in our two appearance in the game. In fact, SU is 7-1 all-time in The House That Sidat-Singh Built. Plus, you know, we kinda partially-own the place....

An ACC school will once again represent the conference in the Pinstripe Bowl this season. Will we finally get that coveted Syracuse vs. Rutgers showdown no one especially wants? We'll just have to wait and see...
