The Syracuse Orange will not get the vengeance rematch they were hoping for, but at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter. The only thing that matters is winning on Sunday.
The No. 19 Marist Red Foxes controlled the game almost from go and never looked back, topping the Bryant Bulldogs 10-6 in the first round of the 2015 NCAA Lacrosse Tournament.

Their prize? To take on the No. 1 ranked and second-seeded Syracuse Orange in the Carrier Dome on Sunday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPNU (check out full bracket here). The winner of that game takes on either the Virginia Cavaliers or the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays for a berth in the Final Four.
Marist comes into the game with a 14-3 record and making their second NCAA Tournament appearance ever (and now coming off their first win). The only shared opponent the two schools have is the Siena Saints. Syracuse beat them 21-7 to open the season and Marist topped them 15-4 to end the regular season.
Syracuse is hoping to avoid last year's fate, in which they lost as a No. 2 seed to Bryant.
