The Fifth Annual Mary Kline Classic Will Tip Off This Weekend

The fifth annual Mary Kline Classic will tip off this weekend. See which Syracuse targets will be participating, as well as all the details regarding the remarkable event.

The fith annual Mary Kline Classic will tip off tomorrow, May 30, at West Orange (N.J.) High School. The Mary Kline Classic (MKC) is a charity high school basketball all-star event put on in honor of the late Mary Kline, as well as anyone else who has lost their life to, or is currently battling, any form of cancer.

The event will feature an underclassman game, senior game, three-point contest shootout and a dunk contest, according to the MKC website. It will begin at 6 p.m. ET.

Syracuse will be well represented at the event. 2015 signee Moustapha Diagne will be participating in the senior game. 2016 commit Matthew Moyer will play in the underclassman game, as well as 2017 targets Trevon Duval and Jordan Tucker. Duval and Tucker are two high-priority targets for the Orange.

According to maryklineclassic.com, the event has raised a total of $104,000 over the past four years.

Nike, Monster, Gatorade, Rock Em, Jefferson Hospital, IMG Academy, iSlide, Cathy Gursha Events, Scoutsfocus and PeopleMetrics are among this year's sponsors.

Orange alumni of the event include: Tyler Ennis, Chris McCullough, B.J. Johnson, Tyler Roberson, Malachi Richardson, Moustapha Diagne and Frank Howard.

All procedes will benefit the National Brain Tumor Society and Brain Tumor Research at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
