The Syracuse Orange men's basketball coaching staff have extended an offer to 2018 forward Naz Reid. The news was first reported by SNY.tv.

Reid told SNY.tv that he has recently added offers from Kansas, Syracuse, LSU, Oklahoma, Providence and many more. He also has an offer from Kentucky.

The 6-9 forward is teammates with 2018 wing Louis King, who Syracuse offered last month.

Both prospects will be entering their sophomore seasons at Roselle Catholic (NJ), the same school that produced current Syracuse Orange forward Tyler Roberson.

King played most of his freshman year on the Roselle Catholic JV team. Reid, however, played a key role in RC's Tournament of Champions run. In the championship game, Reid scored 12 points against future Syracuse forward Moustapha Diagne.

Future150 ranks Naz as the No. 2 player in the class of 2018.

2015 Syracuse signee Malachi Richardson also played at Roselle Catholic. He won the Tournament of Champions in 2013 before transferring back to Trenton Catholic for his junior and senior seasons.
