On Saturday, Notre Dame and Denver punched their tickets to the 2015 NCAA Lacrosse Final Four. Can the Syracuse Orange join them?
The Orange take on the hated Johns Hopkins Blue Jays at Noon at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for the right to head to the Final Four. The game will be televised on ESPN2 and you can hear the radio call on 99.5 locally.
A win here would take Syracuse's all-time quarterfinals record to 28-3 and mean SU's 28th Final Four appearance. Even though Hopkins owns a 27-25-1 series advantage, SU has won eight of the last nine. Syracuse also holds an 8-4 record over the Blue Jays in the NCAA Tournament, making them SU's most-often played opponent.
Need to get caught up? Jim wrote up a full preview of the matchup here.
Former SU star Jovan Miller talked about what SU needs to do to win the game.
Both Jim and Brian think SU wins this one in a nail-biter, because is there any other way?
If the Orange do win, stick around and watch the North Carolina - Maryland game to see who SU would play in the F4.
In the meantime, leave your pre-, in- and post-game thoughts below. G'ORANGE!
