Over the weekend, five Syracuse Orange targets competed in the third Nike-EYBL session of the season. The Orange had a solid showing in Houston and extended an offer out to another prospect.

Jordan Tucker, a 6-8/200 4-star forward, played in three games this weekend for the New York Lightning. He sat out Sunday's game due to a tooth injury that occurred on Saturday. Tucker averaged 7.7 points and 5 rebounds per game. The Lightning went 1-2 in the three games Tucker competed in.

Alterique Gilbert, a 5-10/155 4-star guard, had a huge weekend for Team CP3. Gilbert averaged 21.5 points, 4.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game. Alterique recently named Syracuse in his top 5 and announced he plans on visiting. Team CP3 went 4-0 over the weekend.

Howard Washington, a 6-3/160 4-star guard, averaged 8.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game over the weekend for the Albany City Rocks. Albany went 2-2, however Syracuse's interest in Washington is slowly deteriorating. Despite the recent offer-spree from SU, Howard was not included.

Quinton Rose, a 6-5/170 3-star guard, averaged 8.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game over the weekend. Syracuse and Rose have remained in contact and have mutual interest, however, SU has not offered Rose. Quinton continues to draw national attention, as well as major D-1 offers.

Kevin Huerter, a 6-5/170 3-star guard, averaged 12.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game this weekend. On Friday night, Syracuse offered Huerter a scholarship beginning in the 2017-18 season. Syracuse wants Kevin to attend prep school for one year post-high-school graduation.
