Last night, after the Jordan Brand Classic, Malachi Richardson spoke with SNY.tv about the future of Jim Boeheim.
"We definietly want to send him out a winner, but I don't know if he's gonna go after three years," Richardson told SNY.tv. "That's just my opinion. Coach Boeheim loves basketball, so him walking away from it? I just don't see it."
Malachi scored three points (1-for-6) last night in the Jordan Brand Classic. His next stop will be Syracuse University to begin his college career.
"He's a great coach and he really does love basketball. He loves Syracuse and I just don't know if he can walk away that soon."
Tyler Lydon also spoke with SNY.tv after the Jordan Brand Classic regional game last night, and shared his thoughts. "I want to send him out a winner, I think we all would agree."
Lydon scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in a coming-out party. The 6-9 forward's stock increased immensely after the game. Tyler told me last night the staff haven't really told him much about his role for next season, but he's looking forward to getting on campus.
All four signees never once questioned their commitments to Jim Boeheim or the Syracuse Orange men's basketball program. It's a bump in the road that they plan to get over, together.
