Syracuse vs. N.C. State: TNIAAM Score Predictions & Poll

It all comes down to this.

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

The Syracuse Orange will finish the forgettable 2014-2015 basketball season when they take on the North Carolina State Wolfpack today at Noon. Between the injuries and the losses and the sanctions, this season can't end soon enough. Sadly, it's also the last time we'll see Rakeem Christmas suit up for the Orange.

Can we send Rak out a winner? Let's see what the TNIAAM crew thinks.

Claudia Ceva

NC State 70 - Syracuse 68

First of all, I can't believe we've already arrived at the final predictions post for basketball of the season. Now, to my reasoning for my prediction... I think Rakeem Christmas is going to do his best to improve his draft stock in whatever way he can, and Syracuse will give him all the chances possible. Though, in the end, NC State will prevail because they are slightly more motivated, as this will have an impact on whether they get to the NCAA Tournament or not. Also, the Wolfpack has beaten Duke, UNC, and Louisville when on their A-game, disappointing losses aside.

Brian Tahmosh

Syracuse 65 - NC State 59

Umm, who the hell knows what's gonna happen? The Orange complete the FU tour with a dominant defensive performance. Michael Gbinije leads all scorers with 24 as Rak is double teamed all game but the defense shines in the win.

Michael Burke

NC State 71 - Syracuse 62

NC State needs this game if it hopes to get an NCAA Tournament bid. And when the Wolfpack have come ready to play this season, they've been as good as just about anyone. They beat Duke and North Carolina, they won at Louisville, they took Notre Dame to overtime, and they lost by only four to Virginia. They've laid eggs this season -- the Wolfpack lost a home game to Clemson and they lost by 16 at Boston College -- but tomorrow isn't a game they'll approach lightly. I'd love nothing more than for Syracuse to send Rakeem Christmas out with a win, but I can't see it.

Dan Lyons

N.C. State 7, Syracuse -3

There is no basketball. Happiness is gone. All is lost.

Sean Keeley

NC State 68 - Syracuse 64

I have no doubt that the Orange will come out playing for pride and making the most of their final opportunity, all the while playing in the looming shadow of yesterday's sanctions. But I don't think it'll be enough. The Wolfpack have the home court and Senior Day advantage and they've got something tangible to play for. They're not going to lay down in this one.

How about you?
