Ben Williams finished Sunday with a goal, 11 groundballs, and 14 faceoff wins. Williams took 11 of the first 12 faceoffs and went 14-22 overall for a .636 faceoff winning percentage. The sophomore elevated his groundballs per game remaining second in division I lacrosse for 2015 but went down in his season faceoff winning percentage leaving him fourth in D1.
Overall, Williams is 105-154 at the faceoff X leaving him 65 faceoff wins below the SU top ten in faceoff wins for a season. The Holy Cross transfer is now 15 away from entering the top ten in groundballs picked up in a season for an SU player.
