Henderson, whose relatives knew the late Ernie Davis, was really touched on his visits to Syracuse, and made his commitment to the Orange official back in July. Troy had a stellar senior year, recording over 170 tackles for his high school. He then declined to visit some pretty big name schools at the end of the process when teams were filling plan B slots.

Ben's Breakdown:
Henderson is another one of my favorites of the 2015 class. It seems that the state champion has an internal magnet that just keeps him always following the football, and he has a knack for making a big tackle. Henderson played for one of the biggest schools in Ohio, and his commitment is huge for Syracuse. Not only does it help build that OH pipeline, but it resonates around the state since the Orange plucked Troy out of one of the biggest schools.
Henderson should come in ready to play as well, and I'd expect to see him at the minimum on special teams. When you tackle as well as Troy does you have to get on the field. We'll see if he can learn the playbook well enough to push towards a starting or sub position at LB in 2015.
