Syracuse's quarterback situation is... interesting. So why not introduce another name to see if we can find the answer? That's where an Oregon product comes in. Pacific Northwest resident Eric Dungey gave the Orange a verbal commitment back in November and is excited to join the team on campus.

Ben's Breakdown:
It's absolutely mind blowing to me how Dungey didn't get a single Pac12 offer. This kid not only has the physical skills to succeed at the next level, but has the decision making ability as well. Dungey has a great arm, above average scrambling ability, and makes good decisions. While there aren't many examples in the tape of him checking down to other receivers or going through his reads, I'm confident Eric has the ability to do so.
Dungey joins an interesting stable of QBs at Syracuse, none of which have really done anything to stand out besides incumbent starter Terrel Hunt. I'd expect a redshirt year from Eric, but when Hunt graduates, we should have a fierce battle on our hands between Dungey, Long, and Wilson (and maybe even Edouard). That being said, my gut feeling is that schools like Oregon State are going to regret letting a QB in their backyard slip through their grasp.
