The Syracuse Orange have some decent size on the offensive line but it doesn't hurt to get a little more height as well. Enter Cody Conway, who was part of the big May 16th Offensive Lineman Haul for the Orange. What the Illinois product lacks in size he makes up for with his 6'6" frame. A possible redshirt candidate, let's get to know him before we find out for sure.

Conway seems really skinny on his tape compared to the other linemen in this class, but he uses his arms and leverage so well that his size isn’t a disadvantage. He has really long arms (Not like T-Rex armed Justin Pugh, am I right?) and uses them to pop the defender off balance early. He’s also extremely mobile and even pulls on a few occasions, which is rare for a tackle. At his height, with a redshirt season to get a bit stronger, Conway could be a monster for the Orange.
With our current depth at OT, I don't expect to see Conway play this year on offense, but special teams could be another story. Cody has considerable upside and a development year would definitely go a long way into preparing him to start 3 or 4 years on the hill.
