Long-time commit Shyheim "Shy" Cullen has been a vocal leader of the class of 2015 since giving his verbal back in June. And now, his long-anticipated LOI has arrived. The linebacker was even seen celebrating the Orange's big win over Virginia Tech last night -- just in case you had any doubts at the last-minute.

Ben's Breakdown:
Do you like athletic freaks? If so, Shy Cullen is your guy. Shy already looks like Delone Carter and Shamarko did during their senior years at SU. He's a weight room warrior that will step onto the Syracuse campus ready to compete in the fall. While Shy's academics kept a lot of schools from offering early, the Orange decided to take a chance with the Lowell High School product, and that loyalty paid off. Cullen should qualify for the 2015 season as well.
It will be interesting to see if Shy is able to work his way into the OLB conversation in his freshman year. There are spots to be filled as Cam Lynch and Dyshawn Davis both graduated. Shy definitely has the body to play college football, but we brought in 5 linebackers last class as well, so there should be some spirited competition in fall camp to try and win one of those spots. However, if I've learned anything following this recruitment, it's to not count out Shy Cullen.
