Syracuse Orange (15-8, 6-4) at Boston College Eagles (9-13, 1-9) GameThread

Syracuse looks to complete the season sweep of the Eagles and get some of those sweet, sweet #OrangeEagle points.

Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

The Syracuse Orange (15-8, 6-4) travel to Boston to take on the Boston College Eagles (9-13, 1-9) for the second time this season tonight when they tip off at 4:00 p.m. in Conte Forum. The game will be televised on ESPN2 and ESPN3.

The Orange won 69-61 a few weeks back after Syracuse got out to an 18-point halftime lead before letting BC back into the game. SU ultimately held off the Eagles comeback and held on for the win behind Michael Gbinije's 17 points.

Syracuse leads the overall series 42-24. A win here would make the last ten meetings even at five-apiece.

Jim Christian is in his first year at the Boston College helm. He owns an overall coaching record of 252-166. The Eagles have struggled in ACC play with the only win coming at Georgia Tech, 64-62, on January 25. Junior guard Oliver Hanlan leads the Eagles in scoring (17.5) and assist average (4.5). Forward Aaron Brown, a graduate student, is second in scoring with 14.8 PPG.

Of course, there's also some very critical #OrangeEagle points on the line. Things are currently neck and neck and the six-points that'll go to the winner tonight could have a huge impact.

We all think Syracuse will win the game, but, barely. If you want to get some insight from the other side, check out our Q&A.
