New Syracuse HC Dino Babers said in his introductory press conference yesterday that he'd have coaches recruiting by the end of the day. It certainly didn't take long before they picked up their first new commitment in 2016 OL Airon Servais out of Ashwaubenon HS in Green Bay, Wisc.

Servais is listed at 6-foot-6 270 pounds and rated a 2-star recruit by Scout.com. He has played center in high school, but he also plays tackle, where he will likely line up for the Orange. He was recruited by Babers and his staff while still at Bowling Green and held an offer, which was re-issued by the staff through Syracuse this evening. He also held offers from the likes of Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth, Wyoming, Northern Illinois, and Eastern Michigan. Syracuse was his first Power 5 offer.
Also of interest: Servais attends the same school as four-star freshman QB James Morgan, who redshirted at Bowling Green this past season. We'll see what happens there...
