Former Bowling Green commit Drew Beesley has re-opened his recruiting and will visit Syracuse in January.

Drew Beesley is a 6'3", 220 lbs. defensive end from De La Salle Collegiate High School in Warren Michigan. He originally committed to Bowling Green in June, but decided to de-commit last week citing the coaching change. Upon de-committing, Beesley promptly received an offer from the Syracuse Orange

Beesley's primary recruiter at Bowling Green was Coach Tom Kaufman, who has continued to pursue the defensive end now that Kaufman is at Syracuse. Beesley told that he will visit Syracuse in January once the dead period ends and that staff told him that they desperately need defensive end recruits. Allen Trieu, National Recruiting Analyst from Scout, referred to Beesley as tough, disciplined and as having a non-stop motor

Beesley is rated three stars by Scout but Syracuse is Beesley's only Power 5 conference offer. Beesley's other offers include Toledo, Northern Illinois and Central Michigan. Here's a look at Beelsey's highlight reel from his senior year at De La Salle:
