The Syracuse Orange host the Montana State Bobcats in the Carrier Dome this evening. Opening tip is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPN3 (with Roosevelt Bouie on the call).
It's the second-ever meeting between the two schools. The Orange defeated the Bobcats, 88-55, in the opening round of the 1996 NCAA Tournament, which ended up being a pretty good run. Maybe a win here will forebode something big to come as well? Let's see what everyone thinks...

Syracuse 72 - Montana State 54
It was nice to see Cooney and Richardson knock down some shots against Cornell. They looked like they had much more confidence out there on the floor on Saturday, and I expect that to be the case again on Tuesday. I think that Gbinije, Richardson, Cooney, and Lydon will be too much for Montana St to handle and the Orange will pick up a nice win.

Syracuse 78 - Montana State 55
Syracuse has emphasized defense of late and they will need Trevor Cooney and Michael Gbinije to slow Montana State's two leading scorers -- Marcus Colbert and Tyler Hall -- who also lead the team in three-pointers made. I fully expect them to do that and for this game's outcome to be similar to the Cornell game. Syracuse wins by 23.
Kenny Lacy
Syracuse 78 - Montana State 65
Syracuse should easily win this game, but like they have all year the Orange will allow Montana State to hang around until they get hot on a second half run. The Orange will not have to worry about a loss, but this one may be closer than expected for a while if the Orange do not heat up from outside th arc.

Syracuse 77 - Montana State 61
Like the Cornell game, expect this to be close for a while with the Orange pulling away in the 2nd half. This feels like a game where Tyler Lydon looks for his shot more often and ends up joining Tyler Roberson with a double-double
Sean Keeley
Syracuse 80 - Montana State 69
There's no reason Syracuse shouldn't win this game. The team just lost to Buffalo and also has losses to Nebraska-Omaha and North Dakota State on the list. This should be one of those games where we get to see which role players are stepping up and find out if SU can put together back-to-back winning performances.
Now it's your turn...
