The Syracuse Women's Lacrosse schedule has been released and it features a lot of tough competition. The Orange will face all three teams that joined them in last years NCAA Final Four: MarylandDuke, and North Carolina. Luckily for the Syracuse, all of those matchups will be played at the Carrier Dome. Out of their 19 regular season games, 11 are against teams that made it to the NCAA tournament last season. However, the Orange are no strangers to tough schedules, last year featured much of the same competition.

"Once again this season, we will have the toughest schedule in the country," said Gary Gait in an interview with Cuse.com.

The first action for the Orange is on February 14th  when they play a doubleheader against #11 Loyola Maryland and Binghamton University at home. Syracuse's schedule features 11 home games and seven ACC contests. The following are some key matchups this season along with the full schedule.

Key Matchups:

Northwestern to Maryland: This a four-game stretch on the schedule that features #6 Northwestern, #12 Florida, #8 Virginia, and then last year's national champions and the top ranked team in the country, Maryland. All but the Virginia matchup will be played at home. This will be no simple task for the Orange in the beginning of the season.

#7 Boston College: A tough matchup in the middle of a big road trip. Boston College is right at number ten in the NCAA's rankings. Last year Boston college handed Syracuse a regular season loss and took the Orange into double overtime in the first round of the ACC tournament before losing 14-13.

#4 Duke and #2 UNC: Two final four teams in last year's tournament. Two big ACC games that will come in April
