The TNIAAM Athlete of the Week Poll is Live

Each week, Syracuse's athletes compete for the internet's most coveted honor, who will wear this week's crown?

Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Last week Syracuse Orange fans selected Martin Hehir as TNIAAM Athlete of the Week and this week's nominees include some late-game heroes.

Emma Russell- Field Hockey

Emma's OT goal gave Syracuse a win over the Virginia Cavaliers in the ACC Semi-Finals. Despite an OT loss to the North Carolina Tar Heels, the Orange will enter the NCAA Tournament as one of the top seeds.

Liam Callahan- M. Soccer

Liam notched the game-winning penalty kick to propel Syracuse to a win over North Carolina in the ACC quarterfinals. The sophomore also scored a goal earlier in the game as the Orange move on to face the Clemson Tigers in the semifinals.

Santita Ebangwese- Volleyball

Selita's all-around game helped pace the Orange to a 3-1 victory over the NC State Wolfpack on Sunday. The freshmen totaled 9 kills on only 19 attempts and a personal-best 12 blocks as Syracuse moved to 18-7 on the season (9-5 in ACC play).

Melissa Piacentini- W. Ice Hockey

Melissa scored the game-winning goal for the Orange in Friday's 3-1 victory over Lindenwood. The senior has helped the Orange to a 3-1-1 start in CHA play, and she is poised to set the Syracuse career record for points.
