Vote Now for TNIAAM Athlete of the Week

Coming off of last weekend's two NCAA Championships, can the Syracuse Orange keep the momentum going?

The Syracuse Orange were looking to cap off an incredible month of November, and the teams in action this week certainly delivered. Congratulations to the winner of last week's voting- Philo Germano, but really every member of the field hockey and cross-country teams are deserving of recognitions. Now, let's get to this week's nominees:

Liam Callahan- M. Soccer

Liam delivered two assists to spark the Orange to a 3-1 victory over Seattle on Sunday. The win advances Syracuse to the Elite Eight for the 1st time in school history. The Orange will host the Boston College Eagles next Saturday with a Final Four berth on the line.

Silvi Uattara- Volleyball

Silvi was selected to the ACC 1st-team and then helped the Orange pull off the upset of  the #15 Louisville Cardinals in the home finale. She had 13 kills in the contest and led the team in that category this season. Syracuse finished 4th in the ACC with a 14-6 record.

Abbey Miller-W. Ice Hockey

Abbey made her start of the 2015-16 season a memorable one as she helped the Orange to a 5-2 victory over the #9 North Dakota Fighting Hawks on Saturday. She made 13 saves in the win and

Alexis Peterson- W. Basketball

Alexis had 25 points, 8 assists, and five steals as the #23 Orange pulled away from Fordham for a 76-54 win in Las Vegas on Saturday. She currently leads the team in points per game (15.2), assists per game (5.2), and steals per game (4.6). Syracuse will travel to Maryland on Wednesday evening to face the Terrapins.
