GOOD GAWD ALMIGHTY, THAT'S SYRACUSE BASKETBALL'S MUSIC!!!
Jim Boeheim and the Syracuse Orange basketball team are back for the 2015-2016 season and it all begins tonight in the Carrier Dome when the Orange host the LeMoyne Dolphins in the first exhibition game of the year.
Opening tip is set for 7:00 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel and Orange All Access and available on radio on the Syracuse IMG Network.
You may remember the 2009 exhibition meeting between the two schools because it was a game that LeMoyne actually won, 82-79. Boeheim famously forced his team to play man-to-man defense and allowed the Dolphins to teach them a lesson about how much work they had yet to do. You might not remember the 2012 meeting between the two schools, which ended with a much more predictable 91-48 outcome in the favor of the Orange.
Boeheim also gets another shot at a Beilein tonight. Patrick, son of John, is the new head coach for the Dolphins and takes up the mantle his father once held before moving on to bigger things.
For SU, it's our first chance to see what the new guys looks like on the court as well as what a team led by Michael Gbinije and Trevor Cooney is like.
Jeremy Ryan is at the game for TNIAAM tonight so make sure you give him a follow on Twitter. Otherwise, join us below and leave your pre-, in- and post-game comments.
G'ORANGE!
