Thanks to a run all the way to the ACC Title, the Syracuse Orange earned a program-best sixth-seed in the 2015 NCAA Tournament and will host either Dartmouth (11-5-1) or Hartwick (11-5-3) on Sunday, November 22 and 2 p.m.
It's the second-straight appearance in the NCAAs for the Orange and third in the last four years. SU enters the tournament with a record of 13-5-3. They're also 3-5-1 against teams also in the NCAA Tournament. The ACC led the nation with seven conference teams in the tourney. Wake Forest is the No. 1 seed overall with Clemson, whom the Orange beat in the ACC Tournament, entering at No. 2.
Looking across from them in the same bracket is No. 3 Georgetown, whom eliminated SU in last year's tournament. To get to the Hoyas, SU will have to win it's opening game as well as the winner of No. 11 Seattle vs. UCLA/Cal-Poly.
Hartwick and Dartmouth square off Thursday in Hanover, N.H. to determine who will play the Orange.
