Syracuse vs. FSU: Seminoles Open As 20-Point Favorites Over Orange

No big surprise, FSU opens big.

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

I suppose you could look at the Florida State Seminoles loss to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets one of two ways.

1. FSU is vulnerable.

2. FSU is maaaaaaaad.

Vegas is thinking the latter. They've installed the Noles as the 20-point favorite over the Syracuse Orange for this Saturday's game in Tallahassee.

The Noles are coming off of a soul-crusher of a loss in the closing moments against the Yellow Jackets. They dropped to No. 15 in the Coaches Poll and No. 17 in the AP Poll. At 6-1, they now have to beat Clemson if they want a shot at another ACC Title. The only thing in the way of that showdown....Syracuse.

The Orange dropped their fourth-straight game and now sit at 3-4. FSU, Louisville and Clemson loom and the Orange are headed in the wrong direction at exactly the wrong time.

Last year, Florida State topped the Orange 38-20 in the Carrier Dome.
