Zack Weatherly is a 6'1", 180 lbs. QB who is currently committed to the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. He also holds offers from Appalachian State, Sand Diego State and the University of Tennessee-Martin, He is rated three-stars by 24/7 Sports, two-stars by Rivals and not rated by ESPN and Scout.

Syracuse Orange offensive coordinator Tim Lester has been speaking with Weatherly by phone and traveled to Tennessee to watch the QB conduct  a throwing session this past week. According to Scout, Weatherly indicated he would seriously consider any offer from a Power 5 conference school, despite his verbal commitment to Tennessee-Chattanooga.

Syracuse has been looking for a second QB in this class along with Tampa Plant (FL) commit Rex Culpepper who is rehabbing a torn ACL. Milton High School (Alpharetta, GA) David Moore is expected to visit Syracuse this fall despite a verbal commitment to Southern Methodist University. Southington High School (CT) QB target Jay Rose recently committed to UConn on September 17th. If Syracuse fails to flip Moore, Weatherly may be the next option.
