Syracuse Football: Heisman Frontrunner Riley Dixon Named to ESPN's Midseason All-ACC Team

Duhhhh.

Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Overall, things are not fun for Syracuse Orange football fans right now. But at least there are still a few bright spots for those willing to find them.

And in the case of this one, it shouldn't be too hard to locate...

Riley Dixon -- your resident Heisman frontrunner, god-amongst-men and all around best player you've possibly ever witnessed -- was named to ESPN.com's Midseason All-ACC team today. As David Hale notes, he's just short of the lead in net punt yardage, but 36 percent of his punts are downed inside the 10. Oh, and there's that whole thing where he runs a fake every single game, yet still no one's prepared for it.

In case you're unaware of Dixon's overall Heisman (and All-ACC) resume this season, here's what we're looking at:

Punting average: 44.48 yards per punt

Punts inside the 10: 36 percent

Rushing yards: 29

First downs gained: 3

F&%KS given: Zero

Lives touched: All
