Orange Madness: Adding to the List of Syracuse Recruits Visiting the Carrier Dome Tonight

Orange Madness is tonight and more prospects will be in the building to visit Syracuse.

Over the years, many high profile Syracuse basketball recruits have made the trip to the Carrier Dome for Orange Madness. The annual event allows the recruits to not only get a look at the Syracuse facilities and basketball program, but it also provides for an opportunity to get a good look at the campus. As we discussed last week, many recruits will be in the house. Since last week, though, even more recruits have announced they will be in attendance.

Class of 2016

Taurean Thompson- The big man will be in attendance for Orange Madness. Thompson will be joined by fellow 2016 commits, Tyus Battle and Matthew Moyer. The 6-foot 10 forward is a priority target for the Orange in their class of 2016. They are looking for big man to complete and solidify the class. This will be Thompson's second visit to Syracuse in the last month.

Class of 2018

Cameron Reddish- Reddish is a big time recruit out of the Philadelphia area. Reddish is a 6-foot 6 shooting guard. Reddish's size at the guard position makes him a valuable asset in the 2-3 zone. Reddish already has offers from Penn St and Auburn, and has received major interest from other schools at this early time in his recruiting process. Reddish has plenty of time to grow before entering the college game, and expect his recruiting process to grow as he gets older. Reddish could potentially be a part of the first Mike Hopkins recruiting class, as the long time assistant is expected to take over after the 2017 season.

Class of 2019

Khalif Battle-  Khalif is expected to attend Orange Madness with his brother, Tyus. Khalif is a 6-foot 3 freshman guard who plays along side his brother at St. Joseph's (Met.). It is very early on in Khalif's recruiting process, but it is worth noting that Syracuse offered Tyus a scholarship when he too was just a freshman.
