Now that the Syracuse Orange Women's Ice Hockey season has started, we have one more team to add to our weekly TNIAAM Athlete of the Week poll. Congratulations go out to SU Field Hockey standout Alma Fenne, who won by a single in last week's TNIAAM Athlete of the Week voting. Now, let's take a look at this week's nominees:

Jess Jecko- Field Hockey

The Senior Goaltender is a big reason for the 13-0 start for the #1 ranked Orange. Jess leads the ACC with a 0.84 Goals Against Average (also good for 2nd in the nation) and is 2nd in the ACC in save percentage and shutouts. Syracuse will play their final home games of the season next Saturday and Sunday.

Ben Polk- M. Soccer

Ben scored his team-leading 5th goal of the season last Tuesday to give Syracuse a 2-1 win over Albany. Polk also shares the team lead in points with 14. The #22 ranked Orange will face Bowling Green at home on Tuesday night at 7.

Alexis Koval - W.Soccer

Alexis leads the team with 3 goals and 10 points on the season. She'll be looked upon to lead the Orange next Sunday when they host North Carolina State.

Nicolette Serratore- Volleyball

Nicolette led the Orange to a victory over Virginia Tech on Sunday, recording 16 kills and 10 digs in the match. She leads the team in service aces, and is in the top 3 in kills and digs. The Orange travel to Boston College for a match on Wednesday with #OrangeEagle Trophy points at stake.

Nicole Ferrara- Women's Ice Hockey

Nicole scored the game-winning goal, and added an assist, in the Orange's 3-2 victory over New Hampshire. This was the 1st win of the season for the team and Ferrara has 4 points in Syracuse's first 3 games, and she also leads the team in plus/minus (+3) and shots (12). SU will face UConn and Providence on the road next weekend.

If we've missed anyone, feel free to write in candidates in the comments.
