The last week has been a whirlwind for Steven Clark, but the big DT from Brindlee Mountain HS in Alabama decided he was most comfortable sticking with the Orange, and reaffirmed his commitment on Twitter this evening.

Clark was officially offered by Florida and visited the school, but when he didn't commit while there this weekend, the Orange were able to stay in the picture and overtake the Gators once more. It got a bit nervy when Ole Miss entered the picture a few days ago, and even more so when Penn State and Vanderbilt were said to be sniffing around today, but for now, Clark is orange.
I still won't be 100% confident until the staff receives that fax on Wednesday, as technically speaking a verbal commit is non-binding, but this is a big, big win for Scott Shafer and Tim Daoust.
The next one to watch for will be Jake Pickard. The Orange definitely sit in a nice spot here, and we might have some movement in the next few days so watch this space.
