The Syracuse Orange football schedule has been released and reactions are beginning to come in. Let's take a moment and go through them.
First up, head coach Scott Shafer via a Syracuse Athletic Department press release:
"We look forward to opening our season with four games at home in the Carrier Dome with Orange Nation," said head coach Scott Shafer. "Our team is already back to work preparing for 2015. We are excited to start our Spring football workouts on February 22 in the Ensley Athletic Center."
Onto DOCTOR Daryl Gross:
"Clearly, this is one of the best schedules we've had for a variety of reasons - and extremely exciting given the opportunities it gives our team and fans," said Syracuse Athletics Director Daryl Gross. "Four home games out of the gate - including a league game and LSU making an appearance at the Carrier Dome - will certainly put us on center stage. It's the kind of schedule that can elevate a program, create some important relevancy and encourages our fans to be involved and make a difference in the outcome of these matchups."
Couple other notes:
So even without the week 2 bye @CuseFootball goes 8 strt weeks to end season. BC has it worst in ACC, 10 strt weeks to start the season.
