Last season, it was the Boston College Eagles who snapped Syracuse's 25-game winning streak. This season, the Syracuse Orange want to try and start a brand new winning streak when they host the Eagles in the Carrier Dome.
The ball tips at 7:00 p.m. and the game will be televised on ESPNU and ESPN3.
It's the 66th meeting between the two schools. Syracuse holds a 41-24 lead in the series, though Boston College has won three of the last four games, including last year.
The Eagles enter the game 8-8 (0-4) with ACC losses to Duke, Miami, Virginia and Pitt. Junior guard Olivier Hanlan (16.5 PPG, 4.6 APG) is the club’s top scorer while senior guard Aaron Brown is second with 13.8 PPG. In addition to Hanlan and Brown, senior guard Patrick Heckmann (8.2 PPG) and junior center Dennis Clifford (8.2 PPG, 5. RPG) have started all 16 games.
