Syracuse has won the two previous pairings with the Demon Deacons, including last year's 67-57 contest.

The Orange will be without freshman forward Chris McCullough, who tore his ACL against Florida State. He joins junior center DaJuan Coleman on the Syracuse injury list.

Former Kansas and NBA standout Danny Manning is in his first season as head coach at Wake Forest. He took over the Demon Deacons after a two-year stint as head coach at Tulsa. The Deacs feature the scoring duo of junior forward Devin Thomas (13.1 PPG, 9.7 RPG) and junior guard Codi Miller-McIntyre (12.6 PPG, 5.3 RPG). Thomas had 17 points and 14 rebounds in their last game vs. Georgia Tech.
