Syracuse Orange (11-4) vs. Florida State Seminoles (9-6) GameThread

The Orange host FSU and put their five-game winning streak on the line.

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

It might not feel like it but the Syracuse Orange (11-4, 2-0) are in the midst of a five-game winning streak. They'd like to keep that going when the Florida State Seminoles (9-6, 1-1) come to town for SU's ACC home opener.

Ball tips at 8:00 p.m. and the game will be televised on ESPNU/ESPN3.

The Orange lead the all-time series, 4-1, including last year's encounter in Tallahassee, 74-58.

Junior big man Montay Brandon, the only player to start all 15 games for the Seminoles, leads the team in scoring (13.5) and rebounding (5.5). Freshman guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes (12.4 PPG) and freshman guard Devon Bookert (10.3) follow him.
