RB
In case there was any doubt, RB coach DeAndre Smith wants you to know that Prince-Tyson Gulley is his No. 1 guy.
"I want him on the field as much as possible. He's our guy, and he has to go start us off."
Smith also added that George Morris II is "light years ahead" in pass protection.
Expect to see Ervin Phillips on the field in some capacity this season. The freshman is playing well enough to see action in the return game, if not on offense.
TE
The tight ends are working hard on their pass-catching and Terrel Hunt targeted them early in practice.
OL
Omari Palmer was praised for his work in drills.
DL
DL coach Tim Daoust doesn't think he has a superstar on the line this year, but he's got a whole lot of quality players that can come together to make something special:
"I don't know that I have that one thoroughbred up there this year. but I think as a group they're going to be pretty good. I think I have more guys than I had last year. I just gotta figure out the right recipe."
Isaiah Johnson is working exclusively at defensive tackle. FYI.
Eric Crume continues to take it easy as he recovers from injury. He spent most of the day running sprints and stretching.
ST
Riley Dixon remains in the lead for the placeholder spot but Darius Kelly will be in the mix for sure.
