Oh boy... some thoughts here:

  • That stretch from Saturday, February 7 through the end of the year is absolutely brutal
  • Syracuse typically gets four days or less of rest, except for the January 26-February 3 stretch, and another longer break from March 2-March 7. We'll see how that plays out...
  • Of the Orange's 31 games, 22 are slated for national broadcast right now -- and there's a chance that more could be on that list, too. That's great news for everyone, especially extreme out-of-towners like Sean and myself. So, yay!!!
  • We get to avenge the Georgia Tech loss early (January 7). And of course, after two tight games last season, both BC-Syracuse games find themselves on national TV again.
  • Duke-Syracuse should once again be the top tickets/ratings in regular season basketball, with two HUGE Saturday matchups in a two-week span (I guess Duke's taking our old mid-February matchup slot with Georgeotwn?)
  • In conclusion: Gird your loins on this entire slate...

So what do we think? This looks incredibly daunting on paper -- I'd argue Syracuse's toughest top-to-bottom schedule in quite some time. But I'm sure some disagree. Feel free to chime in below. Plenty to discuss here.
