Name: Kayton Samuels
Position: Nose Tackle
Year: Freshman
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 318
Hometown: Ellenwood, GA
High School: Arabia Mountain
2013 Stats: To be honest, it's a little hard to find stats. Just trust me, he did very well.
2014 Projections: The good news is that Samuels is a talented guy with room to grow. The better news is that the defensive line is loaded with talent and he'll have the chance to learn from them. Don't expect to see him out there this season and don't be surprised if he ends up getting redshirted.
How'd He Get Here?: Samuels was a little bit of an unknown on National Signing Day. Originally committed to Georgia State, they asked him to greyshirt, to which he said no thank you and he ended up choosing Syracuse over Ball State.
What'd Scout/Rivals Say?: Scout, Rivals - 2 stars. 247 Sports - 3 stars.
Money Quote: "I am officially committed to THE Syracuse University!"
