Despite the fact that C.J. Fair did not get selected in this year's NBA Draft, he's still managing to keep his NBA dream alive in Summer League this month. Suiting up for the Dallas Mavericks' squad, he's managed to increase his minutes each game in a reserve role, getting up to 19 in today's game against the Toronto Raptors.
While he only scored seven points today, it's still worth noting two of those -- which occurred on a dunk you may remember pretty well...

Now, today's effort may lack the ferocity, importance, hatred and rivalry of the time C.J. ended Otto Porter's life. But for right now, I think what he did to the Raptors' Bruno Caboclo will serve as a fine imitation:
Again... nothing tops the original, but it's nice to see we can still remember that time C.J. Fair destroyed a top prospect's future by eviscerating his existence forever. And because that prospect played for Georgetown, that's a whole lot of fun.

For those curious, check out C.J.'s stats for the Mavs' Summer League team so far. Nothing overly impressive just yet, but here's hoping he shows enough for a D-League invite.
