Syracuse Basketball: Villanova Game Set For December 20

The Orange lock in another solid December non-conference contest.

In a weird way, it almost feels like Villanova is becoming a stronger overall rival now that we're no longer in the same conference. The Wildcats are on the clock for our football team and we'll be playing the second game of a high-profile, three-game basketball series against them in December. Now we know exactly when.

Villanova will host Syracuse on Saturday 12/20/14 at the Wells Fargo Center, source told @CBSSports. 2nd year of 3-year series. 2015 at MSG.

The Orange topped Nova 78-62 this past season in the first game of the post-Big East series.

As noted, the third game in the series will take place in Madison Square Garden as part of SU's push to continually play games in the building every season. The Orange head to MSG for two games this year and played St. John's in the building last season.
