Syracuse WBB: Orange To Host Penn State In ACC/Big Ten Challenge

Our hatred for all things Big Ten isn't just reserved for Syracuse Orange men's basketball. The women's squad is getting in on the disdain as well.

The match ups for the eighth annual ACC/Big Ten Women's Basketball Challenge were announced Wednesday and the Orange have been paired up with the Penn State Nittany Lions, who will visit the Carrier Dome on Thursday, December 4. The Lions finished last season 24-8 and made it to the Sweet Sixteen.

It's Syracuse's second go-round in the challenge. They lost to Iowa in this year's version.

Some of the notable match-ups include Maryland vs. Notre Dame (though it totally seems like they're both playing for the wrong conference), Louisville vs. Iowa and Rutgers vs. North Carolina.
